The downstairs halls can be used as meeting or party premises; there are seven wonderfully decorated bedrooms and living rooms full of feeling upstairs. History of Patruunantalo
Patruunantalo (in English Squires House) is located in a historical iron works area. The house was apparently built in 1912, and it was used to run operations of the factory. The house was also used as the lodging place for the iron works factory´s top management. Owner of the Stockfors Iron Works, Mining Counselor Baumgartner, lived in the house for a couple of decades prior to the wars.
The current owner of the house, Mr. Reino Uusitalo, started full-scale renovation of the house and its surroundings. At present, the house and the guests are cared for and served by the couple running the hotel, Mr. and Mrs. Janne and Katja Kytönen. Welcome!
